Pure Boats, Amsterdam’s premier boutique boat company, is looking for experienced freelance skippers to operate our fleet of luxury, fully electric boats. We specialize in high-end, tailor-made canal cruises, offering our guests an unforgettable experience on the water. To meet growing demand, we are seeking professional, independent skippers who can provide top-tier service while captaining our vessels.
Who are we looking for?
We welcome applications from skippers who:
- Hold a valid Klein Vaarbewijs (KVB) or Groot Vaarbewijs (GVB).
- Have a Marifoon certificate and Sociale Hygiëne certification.
- Have at least one year of experience navigating the Amsterdam canals as a tour guide.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Amsterdam—this is essential, as we do not provide training. Skippers must be prepared to tell engaging stories and provide high-level commentary to our guests.
- Speak fluent Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus).
- Are customer-focused, professional, and passionate about hospitality.
